hi there! i would like to talk a little about my newbie trip: going to Slamet mountain with dad :D

i didn't guess at first while dad ask me to go to Slamet with him. i thought it was just a 'fun' trip to the 'foot' of mountain,  get on together with friends of my dad. Yes, it was kind of a reunion event for dad and his 'mapala' friends at his young life. Then i asked 'is there anyone who want to take summit? or just party event for daddies-club beneath the mountain, cheated up about their old memories'. 'of course, there are some who want to take summit and i'm one of them' he said, 'okay, i'm going with you dad'(excitedly)

Then the journey begin. dad and i, with 9 others (4 above 50th years old and the rest still on my age). So it was like trip for 2 generations, for daddies and their sons, and daughter (wich was only me who became a daughter).
it's beyond my expectation that my dad still has his strength while his age turn 52th. I predicted it wouldn't work that maybe we couldn't get the summit, or we only reach half of mountain height. Sorry for underestimating you dad haha, but not, you're stronger than i expected. You're still as strong as 20 y old boy.
But, unfortunately, we didn't get the summit. Because almost of member group were too weak. And the top had been misty already. But it doesn't matter. Slamet mountain has around 3.400 meters high above the sea, and we had reached 3.200. So it was still 200 meters before the summit!. i was statisfied enough to reach this height with my lovely dad. It feels like one of my-50 things to do before i die- has already done. haha.
